For Upcoming Classes

Aloha Dancers!

Next Beginners Series starts March 1

If you have some dance experience and feel like you can jump into the middle of a series, you are welcome to drop in on any Monday night and take a class or two or three. But if you are new to social dancing, you might want to wait till the start of the next series so you don't feel lost.

The March Beginner's Series starts with a Registration and Social Dance on March 1.
Come dance, or just watch and see the type of dancing you will be learning. Meet the instructors and other dancers, register for the series and generally have some fun!
Eight weeks of classes begins on March 8 and run through April 26 with another social dance on May 3 for you to use what you've learned.

For Current Classes

Intensives for Inermediate / Advanced dancers

Since we don't actually have a "series" this time for intermediate and advanced dancers, we will be holding weekly, "Intensives" where we focus on one element of the dance, break it down and work it out. Since it is not part of a series, these intensive classes will be pay-as-you-go, BUT we will extend the discounted price as if you purchases a whole series: $5 per class.

Intensives move at a faster pace, so you should be at least an intermediate dancer, comfortable with both 6-count and 8-count Lindy footwork and be able to do a competent swing-out. Your lead/follow skills should also be there. We will not slow down to cover any of the basics, so we will have time to break down the move in detail.

Level 1 (Beginner Series)

Our Level 1 class (beginners to intermediate) is 6 weeks long, with a break in the middle for a night of fun and social dancing with our "Any Swing Goes" Pot Luck Social Dance on Feb 1. Classes are on Mondays from Jan 11 thru Feb 22, 8pm - 9pm (unless otherwise noted) with social dancing after until 10pm.
